Go Women: Entrepreneurs acquiring basics of promotion on the Internet

On September 21, 2016 a workshop “Promotion on the Internet: Want and Fear” was conducted at the Center of Gender Culture by Olga Lavrova, one of the "Go Women" project’s participants. One year ago Mrs. Lavrova established the Internet marketing agency “Internet Digital Marketing”.

Mrs Lavrova shared the knowledge received in the International Marketing Academy and from the “Stations Kharkiv” course in the Internet Marketing.

The presentation contained basic points that need to know when the online promotion was planned. The trainer told about the wide possibilities of Internet marketing, because 40 percent of internet users having purchased products online, and sales on the Internet reached 2.2 trillion dollars in 2015.

Mrs. Lavrova described the basic tools of the online marketing such as website, SEO, e-mailing, SMM, online advertising, and the conditions for using each of this tools.

Participants learned about the types of sites and features of their promotion. The presentation also contained many useful links for web site development, copywriting services, mailing email implementation, logos creation, and high-quality images selection.

At the end of the workshop the trainer provided recommendations for participant`s businesses internet promotion and described the current trends of Internet marketing.
